Default Alternator positive terminal replacement?

When attempting to remove the positive terminal nut I broke the post off in the alternator. The nut was seized to the positive terminal spade and the torque needed to break it lose snapped the threaded brass-looking post/bolt off inside the alternator. Does anyone know if i can extract the broken piece out of the alternator and thread in a new post? i.e. Is the positive terminal post just a headless threaded bolt that is removable? Thanks for the help!
