I have the amsoil 5w-30 mtf. I don't feel the difference. I doubt you will either but that doesn't mean it's not good stuff. You should only feel or hear a difference is if you don't have enough fluid in there.

Dude.....it's tranny fluid....not super fluid. You feel nothing. You hear me, nothing. I use the good stuff too, but it's just for peace of mind so I feel better about beating the **** out of the car. But to say you feel it running smoother is just stupid...That's right I called you stupid bro.
Hey crazy 4 honda I paid like 8 bucks for a quart of honda mtf...not exactly inexpensive when compared with other fluids as you say.
Castrol synthetic mtf was like 7.50 for at autozone and the amsoil I bought was 8.50. So I would call the honda mtf premium priced stuff

Well no, no the turbo and the acceleration I feel is very real but the feelings I get of thinking I am a turbo god I think are pyscological! haha. It gives me feelings of such power!
x98234. it's the same exact thing as when somebody changes their engine oil to some super jdm high tech oil from japan and all of a sudden their engine is running smoother.
There is a guy on there with a white cat on his avatar and it's making a serious face and at the bottom it says the internet is serious buisseness like your sig!...just thought it was you
ok carry on

People run Synchomesh to fix issues with grinding, if you're not having any issues the new formula for Honda MTF is pretty damn good. I run that in the S2K. And I'm sampling engine oils now.
.
For those with the 6sp in the Si; I changed about 2 months ago to Amsoil MTF and it is a world of difference for the 3rd gear issue. I could not believe that the oil made such a difference in what I thought was a mechanical problem. Totally fixed now.
forr those of you who dout it, try it. you def. feel a difference, the shifts are alot smooth and no notchyness. By the way i put amsoil in my tranny and it is pour SEX!!!!
And somtimes it is said that notchyness is a desired feel as it represents actions of the gearbox that are direct and firm and not soft and rubbery
I'm not saying the amsoil mtf is not superior fluid, cause I think it is but it will not create an overwhelmingly feeling physical difference
Won't argue with what other people experienced but I had notorious shifting issue when I first got my car (07 SI) and noticed immediate difference when I went with Amsoil's MTF. Obviously, it's not going to solve our flaky 2-3rd gear but I can attest that it's a whole lot smoother.
