The temp gauge in my '99 Accord EX sedan in 4 cyl. 5-speed has a issue with the tempature gauge. Eveny once in awhile after I have been on the road or warm stated it the gauage withh drop to cold. Two second latter it is reading normal operting temp again?? Is this a sensor, or wiring issue likely. Or something worse like bubbles in the system?

Check connections at the temperature sending unit on the cylinder head. Probably not an issue with the actual cooling system. Likely just an electrical problem.
