Default CRX power door locks using 4dr actuators?

After a recent trip to the junk yard, there seems to be quite a few 4 door 88-91 Civics with power door locks. Does anyone know if the power door lock actuators from the 4 door will work on a CRX?

I know I could buy aftermarket poppers but the OEM Honda ones a practically free.

Wondered myself (since I'd love to have my alarm to unlock em) Might get some and try, they should be able to be modified to work... (this has kept me from buying ebay ones so far)

Fighting urge to modify pwr windows from 4 dr as well, though it'd be nice
(but added weight ftl,lol)

I did swap the windows in I don't remember them being a lot heavier.

I tried to use the 4-door actuators in my 88 crx doors and I couldn't get them to fit withouth significant cutting of the actuator housing or somehow denting in the impact beam. I was hoping that I could use them, they do screw onto the CRX latches like OEM, they just don't fit in the space. I hope you guys can figure it out though, I still have mine and would prefer to use them over the aftermarket actuators I settled with.

iirc, there is a great deal of modification that has to be done to the door. not worth it if you ask me.
what year is your crx? i have aftermarket actuators in my 91, they fit perfectly behind the panel where the upper seat belt is. very light weight as well. i really missed keyless entry
