Looking for some advice on ef suspension layout
I had a similar thread to this one a while back but didn't really get a definate answer. Alright so first I am going to post a few pics of my car so you can see what I am working with, then I want ya'll to list what set up you think would be best for me..... I am basiclly looking to keep my ride height about the same but just improve handling overall with control arms, arm bar etc.

Not sure what it's sitting on but the guy before me did mostly everything to it. so I would like to change out the coilovers just so I will know I put on the best for my money and not just something someone else threw on.
Lets see some different ideas, it will be lots of help for me
Thanks

Just took my car by a local shop and got them to take a look at my muffler. Like I said above, the guy that had the car before me dropped the car pretty low and caused a few problems. The muffler was jerking around and they noticed that part of the muffler was getting scraped due to the lowness of the car.
Before I was going to just get an idea of what suspension layout would work best, but now I kind of have to do this so I don't damage the car any further.
I kind of like the highth it's at but it's not going to work out this way so I am going to raise it some. The only problem is I don't want to hurt the handling either. So this is my new inquiry...... lets see some posts!!!!!

I'll post what I did to my 90 Si hatchback:
Koni/GC Coilover combo with custom spring rates
GC Extended top hats on all four corners
400F/500R
Energy Bushings
Stock Sway Bars.
The handling of the car improved ten fold over the last setup which consisted of Tokico HP's and ebay **** coilovers. The car is stiffer and much more stable all around. Even though it has become more *** happy due to the high rear spring rate, it is very predictable and very easy to control.
If you want to employ the use of strut bars, make sure you buy a nice solid bar without adjustment. All of those adjustable bars are useless because they flex under load and it negates the purpose.

Just got my car back from the shop and I am amazed how much different it feels..... they fixed the raddeling muffler and it feels way better. I'm probably still going to go through with the whole suspension conversion.
Someone let me know if Skunk 2 would be a good choice... whether it be coilovers, arms etc.
I'm looking toward getting the adjustable S coilovers......

people are going to steer you into the koni/gc over the pro s. for similar money you're getting custom rates, a lifetime warranty and rebound adjustment
what do you use your car for? honestly, with an older car, your bushings will probably need to be replaced and you will notice handling differences.
however, you have to consider if coilovers are even right for you. you seem to not need the heigth adjustability. depends on what type of rates you're looking for.

for the $$ I will tell you to get this set up(koni/GC). If you can afford more I would look into AMR coilovers.
