205-45-16 equal to stock diameter on a dc?

checked the facts and they say 205-45-16 would be the best for a dc. would this be ideal on a +40 offset rim with good alignment. rims will be 16x7. thanks guys.
You can use either 205/45-16 or 215/45-16. 205/45 is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the stock 195/55-15 size, and 215/45 is slightly larger than the stock outer diameter, but both differences are less than 1 percent.
