4dr Civic Wont Charge Under Load.
Car is an 88 Civic DX 4dr, B-series swap with an OBD2 Alternator.
With nothing on just the engine idling it charges 14volts. If I start turning on 2 or more items, wipers, headlights, fan etc, it drops to 12volts and steadily drops till I either blip the throttle or turn stuff back off. If I blip the throttle it jumps back up to 13.8volts then drops all decreases all over again. If I turn items off it jumps back to 14volts and stays. I’ve tested these voltages at the battery and at the alternator charging post.
New Alternator, Old Alt tested good
Swapped Under hood Fuse box’s
2 Different batteries
Remade Positive Battery cables, larger wire
Traced ELD and Alternator wiring to ECU/Power/Ground all good
Any ideas because I am all out?
