picked up a 99si cd player and i need a harness so i can use it in a 95 accord, when did they change over the harness theyve been the same forever.

Up until 98 they were the same, 99 has different connector.

ahh those bums screwed me by one freaken year... i should be able to find a 99 plug and splice it up tho right?

Go to a quality Hi-Fi/car audio store and tell them what youre trying to do. I did this and they came up with a way in 2 seconds. They make a Testing harness that plugs into the back of OEM radios and The shop i went to happened to have one for a 99-00 Si and I pluged it in, spliced the wires to the stereo harness you buy when installing an aftermarket stereo, and thats it. If that doesnt make sense just kick me. Im tired as hell.

 

Yea just get both harnesses one for your car and the one for the radio!! Any stereo shop should have them. If not I can get one for you just PM me!

 

ive got the harness for the car ive got like five 98 down harness's i just didnt know they switched in 99
