Which airbox for B16A in EK, + GSR tranny bolts.
Hey everyone, I own an EK with a b16A swap.
Want to know which stock airbox and airtube will mount.
*Mind you my current aftermarket intake has IAT sensor and MAP tube mounted onto it.
Also, my GSR tranny is missing one of the worm screws used to mount it to the upper tranny bracket. Anyone know ls tranny bolts work, how do I remove them?

with out going the mugen/Js route, personally id go one of two routes either a standard EK intake with a good drop-in filter or a DC2 intake (a little bit more work) With both id be removing the resonator from the car and providing your intake with a cold air feed. Alot of people claim the DC2 intake is the best OEM intake, but the standard one is pretty sweet too once it has a cold air feed and an upgraded filter. EK intakes can be picked up for next to nothing, the DC2 ones are a bit harder to come by and a bit more expensive (well where i come from)
Just my 2 cents

Cool, thanks for the suggestions guys. Looking at both intakes on ebay (DC2 and EK) I think i prefer the dc2 intake. So it will not just "bolt" in i take it. What will i need to do differently when installing the dc2 intake vice the ek intake? Can someone post a pic of an EK rockin a dc2 airbox/tube?
