Default Holley Integra Fuel Pump

I'm using a Holley 190lph fuel pump for a 94+ Integra, and it seems to be giving some problems. It works fine if I'm on flat ground, but I guess the pickup is above the gasoline when I am on an incline, because the fuel pressure drops and the car stalls. My question is: for those who have this pump (I know that there is a few out there that do) did you use the Holley strainer, or did you reuse the CRX piece?? I ask this because I noticed the stock CRX strainer sits slightly lower in the baffle than the Holley one. If not, what am I doing wrong here?
