Default high compression gsr questions

i have a gsr block bored .020 over, and im new to the all motor building game. i have a ls crank and i was wondering if that would be good to run with the gsr block. i was also wondering what rod piston combo would give me the best results with the ls crank (would ls rods be good for the build or should i go with eagle?) As well as if a b16, gsr, or ls tranny would be best for the build

thanks guys for all your help in advance,

Ryan

The LS crank will work fine in the GSR block, but you will have to use Ls rods with that crank because Gsr rods are longer. You can use any B series piston to go with the rods, the stroke and bore should give you little more displacement. I would go with Gsr tranny but if your looking for a shorter gear ratio the B16 tranny is what you want.

You would also have to lose the Vtec oil squiters because of the crank.

They can be modified to allow the crank to fit also. Just another option.
