every time i think im getting somewhere with this damn thing, it steps on me.

what im doing is putting a d series vtec motor in my 89 si crx.
using a p28 ecu.

i had theh thing running, and running ok. the pcm and motor came with some unknown adaptor harness, which was very odd. and badly made. but it got the car up and running. unfortunately, i had no idea how to wire up the vtec or 02 sensors. so....

i bought a boomslang harness. the car does not now run. it tries, and acts like its getting just a smigeon of fuel, then cuts off. half second tops while cranking. will fire and run with starting fluid. but not on the injectors.

so i got to thinking that maybe our motor has teh injectord that require the resistor box tp be removed. i created a jumper plug out of a spare plug to try it. no dice. still no fuel.

so what goves? it ran with the crappy harness that i couldnt hook up smpletely, but wont with my nifty, new, directions included harness.

and just to double check, i put the old one back in, and it fired right up. so its something to do with the boomslang harness.

any help?

im planning to call them tomorrow. was just hoping to get it figured out today so i could cross it off tyhe list of things to do.
