Steve Merman just went 8.409 @177.10

 

Joel missed second gear, but won his round. It will be Joel and Steve in the finals.

I thought there was a confirmed 8 car field.

 

I think about half of the field broke in qualifying rounds.

 

Gary declined when there were only 4 cars showing up, but I believe he's walking around in the pits

 

There were 5 that showed up and raced. I think 2 backed out, and then 1 got here and decided to race 10.0 index. We broke 2 axles, sensor to boost controller and fuel check valve all on 1 pass last night, Johnny bent valves last night, and Dr Marv broke something in the tranny. We were the only ones able to make repairs to finish the event. We had a personal best of 149 mph on gas only. What a great weekend.

its crazy to see the outlaw guys run around the same or better ET's than the HR guys..

 

The event was awesome great to be out there. It is to bad the rest of the boys didn't show up. To bad I bent some valves, should have tried to fix it but it is over. Was great.
