Default b20 block sleeving

Ive been searching the forums for some info on sleeving a b20 block Im trying to build a b20v but ran into a problem ive emailed a few companies about building and sleeving my block Ive told them its a b20 and they said its not such a good idea to sleeve this block the reason for this is that the 2 center cylinders were casted together and that they have to use alot of epoxy at the bottom to keep them sealed Also that probably down the road they would leak Can anyone help me out with this one Anyone want to put their two cents into

This b20v will be fully built top the bottom just for your info

I'd say listen to the companies who would do the work since they'd know best. Just for reference, who did you talk to?

B20 blocks get a bad rep because people can't properly tune ****.

You dont need to sleeve b20 blocks.. put a block guard on it, and tune it correctly.. b20 sleeves are **** to low rpm ign problems.. thats all... Tune the car correctly and it'll last forever

Omniman has a b20vtec who's going on almost 45k miles right now..
I just got done with mine there's plenty of stock sleeved b20vtec's.. tune it correctly the first time.

by current B20 was re-sleeved by GE. no issues so far.

my previous B20 had Darton MID sleeves installed. darton themselves said it's not a good idea to install their sleeves into the B20. but the machinist who did mine did and excellent job and i had no block issues when i sold it.

i recommend GE if you had to sleeve it....at least they warranty against sinking and leaking etc....
