Default Anyone try D2's lowering springs?

Looking into buying a pair and havent come across a review on them... ill be using it on my DD and the drop seems good 2.5f 2.25r, but havent heard much on them. I know their coilovers are good and ive enjoyed the ride on them in my buddys car. Just wondering if anyone has tried them out... thanks in advance

Those D2 springs raise suspicion. They are cheaper than any other lowering spring ive seen, which makes me believe that they are cutting quality somewhere!

The mere fact that they are made by D2 makes me not want to go near them. I'm sure as hell those things have weird spring rates and completely suck

They will probably sag in the rear and cause your car to drop at weird angles, no side will be even.

take a look at progress before buying any D2 or FF. Progress is bounds and leaps ahead of that generic Taiwanese garbage

lol typical H-T **** talkers. Absolutely no experience or knowledge of the product but hey at least you shared your opinion on what they will "probably" do.

Oh look, a D2 distributor trolling around h-t bringing back two month old thread that bashed on the crap he sells. Tell us about the great product you sell good sir, share the knowledge.

Yes, I am a D2 distributor and obviously not trying to hide that by using company name as my screen name. I was looking for some feedback on our springs that had some backing and thought it would be appropriate to comment.

There is no point in me trying to tell you it is a quality product as you would just say it is a bias review. Although we just recently started selling them in the US market and there are around 600 sets out right now. We did have one set that was mis boxed but we have not seen this: "They will probably sag in the rear and cause your car to drop at weird angles, no side will be even."

I'm rocking them on skunk2 shocks and I like the ride. The drop could be better though, boasts a 2.5" f and 2.3?" rear? The rear is like almost 2 fingers but the front is a good 3 fingers. It's been like a month already too. I was hoping that it would drop much more in the front.

My friends are on neuspeeds/maxspeeds and they're flush. The ride is good though, I'll say that much , just could be a better drop.

The springs ride great and I got them picked up from u guys at urban. The only flaw was mislabled springs and end up doing the job twice, but they rode great

Thank you for such an insightful technical review. Please don't hesitate to post again in the future.

ok, so i ended up semi-cheaping out and getting d2 lowering springs. i just finished putting them on my stock struts and went on a curvy backroad test drive, and the handling has definitely improved over stock and so has the stiffness, but the ride height looks the same. i was told i would need to wait about a day for the weight of the car to settle down and i would see a noticeable difference in my fender gap. i was also told by a tech at the shop i bought them from, that some sets come labeled wrong (ie: labeled front actually needs to be on rear and visa versa). has anyone else had this issue?

yeah, i mean if they lower the car any, ill be happy with my $125 spent (especially since the local shop let me buy them on layaway lol) but i used the money i woulda spent on the d2 or similar coilovers on getting a motor swap so....worth the trade off i guess.
