Ive got a coolant leak from behind the timing cover , what could be leaking from back there ?

It could be the water pump gasket/water pump or head gasket (but head gasket generally has other symptoms alongside).

I hope its not the head gasket . Its not blowing white smoke or over heating or anything like that . now the only problem i am having is getting the stupid pully bolt off to I can pull the rest of the timing cover and get at the water pump.

from where on the cover is it leaking?

it was coming from the back side of the cover and now it is coming right out the bottom

could be a bad o ring on the thermostat pipe or either waterpump..does it leak alot or just a little

check the water pump weep hole. once the weep starts leaking its time to replace the pump.

check it asap, because if thats what it is, the next thing thats going to happen is the pump is gonna freeze up and take the timing belt with it.
