I have some Ebay header, and HKS complete exhaust system coming on the way. I'm just wondering, but will i have to buy a cat from an EX to make it all complete bolt on.

The car in question is a 92 Civic CX, with the stock D15, and considering that the cat. converter is on the exhaust manifold, will this shorten the length of the exhaust piping?

yea either buy a test pipe or a aftermarket cat..b/c once the header and ex. is up you will have a gap where the cat should be if you had one
