My cigarette lighter assembly is loose and the protector cover (the plastic component that holds the lighter in place) appears to have a little plastic piece that is missing from the top, although it does not look like it latches onto anything. Does anybody know how Ican repair the existing installation and if not, does anyone know where I can can a replacement lighter assembly, with the protective plastic cover? I have looked all over the net and have not been able to find anything. My honda accord is a 2.2 vtech 4 cyclinder.

have you tried tightening the cap on the end of the lighter ??(it looks like a beer bottle cap) and as for the plastic cover, you can just use electric tape
