Ever watch an Option video or read Carboy or Option magazine? They have more than a couple of pink cars and most of them look good. My July issue has a SD pink Supra right on the cover. Do you think people in Japan make fun of these guys? I highly doubt it. Just another bright racing color over there, while over here we give it a negative sexual meaning. My Japanese buddy wears a pink polo and pink Pumas sometimes and he's not gay, weird, or anything else, that's just the style. Just another difference in our cultures. So yeah....I guess you can say "***** Pink" IS JDM........y0.......

Its because most american's are uneducated and superficial. This country is full of dolts - especially this web board. I can't wait to move out of this **** hole of a country, it sucks a fat dick.

 

I wouldn't go as far to say this country is a sh*t hole, but I agree with you on the uneducated/dolt part. Most people live in their own little world and forget that there are places, people, and cultures that are different. This thread is a perfect example..."Hey, look at what the stupid Japanese person did to their Civic, I don't like it blah blah blah." Who are any of us to judge something from a culture that isn't ours, furthermore who asked us to judge in the first place?! Why don't we just make fun of societies that are different than ours, yay!

In short:

Judging that <U>Japanese</U> car in <U>Japan</U> through <U>American</U> eyes and attitudes is like a cat expert judging a dog show, one needs more understanding of the subject at hand before they can judge. It's like those people who see something on Discovery about the people from Papua New Guinea or what have you and exclaim "Look at those fools dancing around naked, I bet they're gay showing their ***** to everyone." Pink isn't Gay D M or whetever some fool thinks.......dawg
