Default Trans redone, grinds going into 5th

Just had Mfactory diff and main-final drive gears added to my H22 5 spd. New bearings added also. Redline diff oil was used. Trans now grinds going into 5th gear when it didn't before. Clutch adj. is ok. Could it be synchro related when it didn't do this before?
It grinds going into both 3rd and 5th.

Also installed a forbiddenmotorsports shifter and shift bushings at the same time. Both 3rd and
5th do some protesting.

Did you check clearances on the synchro(s), shift fork finger thickness, etc? Did you also place the sleeves and hub assemblies for them back into the same grooves they had been installed in before? Or did you remove them and place them into different grooves?

And what do you mean "Redline diff oil?"

Meant redline trans oil. I'll check with the shop that did the trans work, tomorrow.
Thanks.

selector sleeve is worn or fork is bent... most likely the first.

Meh. I have yet to see a cable set go bad and cause a 5th grind... BUt Ive hadd a few trannys grind fifth, and all were the sleeve. One time the sleeve didnt even look THAT bad. STill ground... Havernt seen a syncro wear (Inside cone side) To do it yet, its been the selector sleeve every time

It wasn't grinding before the Mfactory diff, gears, forbidden linkage and shift bushings.
Started grinding immediately after the install. Syncros appeared to be ok.

DO you have a gay *** short shifter??? It wurely wont help... And I DINT sya SYNCROS... I said SELECTOR....

The diff is inconsequential... IF the gearset came apart in any fashion it could be.... BUT if you put in a short shifter... Ya it could be that. Theyre gay.

Shifter is a 4bidden unit. I just mentioned the synchros so you'd know they were looked over. Thanks again for the response.
