JDM B18C OR JDM H22A on a 90 DA
My friend suggests I should go W/ B series all the way through, but I think I should go W/ H series.
He suggests (JDM B18C W/ B16 Tranny)
I suggest (JDM H22A W/ GSR Tranny)
this car will not likely be boosted but state your opinion on boost for both if you like.
This would be going onto a 90 Integra "DA9"
(Please include logical reasons why either choice would be the better swap. Also include difficulty of swap and possible headaches for both to make the obvious choice seem better)

For the most hp on stock the H2b setup will kill, but b18c with b16 will be good also. H22a will take some effort to fit inside the engine bay, while b18c will go in without a hitch.
What are your track runs w/ your GSR? do you have stock times? Im really looking forward to finding the times with the DA's weight. and is it JDM or USDM?
JDM b18c gsr or type r with short gear ratio tranny(b16 or type r). Good(quick) enough, save you money and headache. You'll be happy and you won't have to deal with smog or customizing h2b's to make it fit.
I heard theres a way to smog JDM in CA. Do you know the deal with that? So i could legally do the swap

JDM H22a with gsr. I'm running the exact same setup on my 93 civic coupe, and it kills. The engine is beefy and tough to swap though. I have hasport mount and it fits really good with them. But getting it in was a pain. The only thing I don't like about the swap is that I had to sacrifice p/s and a/c they won't fit in that small of a bay. Overall though I love it.
