K24 Integra Build
So i figured i would start a thread awhile since ill be putting all the parts together for this swap over the winter. Currently have a semi built 97 gsr, plan on swapping the motor out for next years dirt track race car. I currently have an 02 ep3 but parting most of it out and keeping what i can use for the teg swap. I am doing my research but always like to have others input that have done the swap and the best place to get info and parts. So feel free to drop a line and help me out since this will be my first time. I plan to do the simple k24 (all stock) at first so i dont have any down time, then later swap the head. So with that said only thing i really would like to know now is whats the best tranny set up, 5 or 6 speed? And can i keep my dc race header that i currently have on my my ep3 now and modify it at the end to fit my teg?

Shifter Box w one cable (free)
Both Axles (left over from ep3)
Mounts $300
Fuel Rail $40
k24a2 (traded gsr tranny and s2 IM)
New Head Gasket $40
K24a2 Rod $30
Engine Harness $50
Charge Harness $30

RBC Intake Manifold
Valve Cover
CRV passenger bracket
Tranny
EP3 or RSX radiatior
ECU
Conversion Harness
Header
Shift Cable (one that lays flat on the tranny)

what parts can i use off my ep3 k20a3 swap? Can i use my harness? Can i use my axles if i swap the outers for b series? Wanna save what parts i can use before i part out the car and scrap the rest.
ive seen just about EVERY kind of car used to race on the dirt tracks. My buddy used a gsr teg this year, i raced a 97 prelude last year and an 02 civic si hatch this year. We obvisioudly dont take a straight clean car off the street to use. Either salvage title, wrecked or just a shell. I dont know what shell im using next year but the teg i have now is my daily driver.

lol everyone must have read wrong or sumthing, but im pulling the motor from the teg and swapping it into whatever shell i find over the winter whether it be a civic or teg. Is DC Squad an actual site? ive heard of it just never looked into it.
finally a member on dc squad... #96 Also got my first part for the k swap. Mike at PSI gave me a shifter box n cables.... I think im still gonna throw him some loot next time im down for a tune
ok so its been awhile, only have a little over a month to get everything i need for the swap, and since ill be getting my income tax back within the next 2 weeks it will be perfect. So im gonna make a list of parts i have and need. Id really like to find something in one package

project has been put on hold the past month since i picked up another car, but finally picked up a longblock, k24a2 for $500 bux!!!! i know it was a steal LOL
