Just found out now that these CTR replicas are out...




My first impression? They were so close damn it!! First, they put that DAMN clear reflector inside instead of covering it with the smoked chrome. Second, its really hard to tell from the pic but the chrome housing for the turn signal looks to be smoked as well. Not like the CTR light! But the rest of the housing looks pretty good. And yeah no city light hole but you can make that **** yourself.

Here is a quick comparison between replica and the real CTR. (and yeah, yeah I know about lighting in the pics may cause them to look different... blah, blah, blah )

These will compliment those fake spoon mirrors, fake mugen lip, Tenzo R seats, and rota slipstreams just fine.

 

 

if you're in the business.. why not make some easy money off "JDM" parts.. i mean, ****..people are spending money on tail lights that look exactly like the ones they already have, just because they're missing a side reflector.. and buying gauge clusters they cant even read, just because they light up orange.. if i was a company id do the same ****.. this trend is a money pit..

 

Not really that close... no city light, has that stupid light defuser, and the reflector! Cool... If you like that sort of crap. The water prolly runs right through it too

Yeah! If you can't afford to buy $500 plastic lights so you can get your *** kissed by everybody cuz they're JDM then DON"T BUY THEM! Spending $175 on lights that look like the real ones is stupid! I mean yeah you save $325 but thats not the point...

wanna know my problems about "that fake **** is rice" post??

most of the kids who take the time to post that are the same ones with real ****, that doesn't get put use like it should be. that itself is faker then anything.

if you have real **** and you use it..big ups to you . but if you have 'real' **** and buy it merely for credibility and to say u have it, thats a sucka right there straight up. sadly enough, most of the time the haters are the ones who dont use their ****. for instance, if i buy sw388s and talk **** about people with fake ones, but i dont even abuse them, i would be the biggest sucka, not the kid with the fake ****.

fake or real, as long as the car is getting mashed on or the owner is humble about their parts, more power to them. its just that usually..the kids who clown the "fake" ****, aren't even down for real **** anyway

how many people do u know that buy real ek9 headlights for FUNCTION? u dont unless someone wants to get **** about how they may shine better blah blah. but point blank people get them for looks .( or credibility) regardless. let them if they please. same with people with fake ones.

 

putting a set of real JDM headlights on a car and claiming to be JDM is gay too.. basically the only cool thing about those headlights is the color of them.. the city light isnt cool.. and the headlight doesnt serve any better purpose if its JDM or USDM.. so whats wrong with buying a smoked headlight?
