Someone local has an almost brand new Ramhorn manifold made by neukin. I was wondering if anyone has or is running this manifold, if they ever had any problems? such as cracks? or not fitting well? thanks...
the downpipe i got from them along with my topmount didnt fit. the downpipe couldnt even reach the turbo exhaust housing. And I wouldn't order it thru them also. I ran into a bunch of problems. Thats my experience

wow shitty.....Yeah i'm not buying it new from him, buying it from some guy that had it on his car for like 20mins on the dyno before his car blew....
yep, i have one. never had any issues. fit's great, looks great. i also have a neukin downpipe, radiator, and intercooler. all work perfectly. alex is a little hard to get ahold of, but he makes good ****.
come to think of it, my buddy in denver has a neukin ram mani as well. last i heard from him it was still runing without problums.

Thanks for the input guys. From what i've read and everyones been telling me, Neukin makes quality stuff, just their customer service sucks. I guess thats a good thing that i'm buying it locally and not ordering it.

Yep, one person doin it all.... I have a manifold that I got from my buddy. He custom made this mani for a 72mm turboi, and it's badd ***!!! Never seen another one like it, has lifetime gaurantee on cracks, etc. Good stuff in my book!! it's held up for a year of 10k redline, and about 30psi, with no issues.....

Im not sure how long it takes to get things fixed.. they never come back. But it that was the case your #1 on my list and get taken care of that week.
ITz On!! everything is tested and fitted on a real block with real turbos and wastegates so not sure what you had that made it not fit.
Love you guys, keep up the hard work for good parts. Ill be building parts to meet your requirements til i die. The crap economy has made my life a mini hell but im getting everyone taken care of. Some new orders ship within days, trying to get like 5 guys taken care of that have ish backordered. I take it all personal but some wont understand.
later and good luck with your setups!!!!!

HAHAHa....good point, THEY DONT COME BACK...
Just b/c people hear things I love how they pass them on as their own experience. I can tell you if something were to crack, I wouldn't have a problem waiting for quality work to come back. If you don't like what you hear, move on.....

we have two neukin manifolds on our s2000 sandrails, both have ben on there for about 4 years, and with a sandrail we are on and off the gas for about 45 minutes to hour and half straight....no problems at all
Who cares man? I'm angry and need to vent no matter what thread/post it is lol.
I'm trying to run the AX one on my dSeries, but good luck to me. Major design flaw here. Even the Chinese got it right, so wtf Neukin? Here's my story.
I contacted this guy and told him what I wanted. First it was, "yea man I can have it out to you in 6 days." Then it was "2 weeks from the time of order." Ok, whatever, I was in no rush, and I understand he's busy. Besides, the winters in Canada are long so I got time to draw my plans. But anyway, I order this manifold, requested an update 2 weeks after and don't hear a word from Alex. Finally he responds and says, "yes it's going ok, will get it almost done this week, busting out these last 4 qp manifolds for honda and a 1zz toyota unit, keepn ya under 4 weeks should be easy." -Very promising Mr Neumann, thank you!
Anyhow, 6 weeks later, still nothing. So now I'm getting concerned and forced to open a dispute with PayPal because if I don't and he doesn't ship, I'm screwed. So I open the dispute and sent an email to Alex, advising him that I did so only to protect my investment, he can take more time if he needs, I didn't care about time at that point. He responds by stating the following:
"Hey Ed sorry i think we were mailing the wrong email for you.. Your item looks delivered USPS. I understand you filing a chargeback, i couldnt just steal your money though.. these are custom built and just take time, we got way too many orders the first few months of 2011.... If you able to log into paypal or call today and cancel that would be great, i have money investing in your setup and shipping to Canada and i still dont have a payment so it really messes things up here when im using other peoples order money to finance your custom build.
Umm what? lol the **** is going here?
So ok, whatevs man, now that I have my tracking information, I guess I'm ok. This manifold finally came in and I'm just amazed at the craftsmanship. Super sick welds and clean work all around, I'm lovin it. BUT, I made a vital mistake by not test fitting because at that time the car was still in storage and I had no access to it. So whatever, my fault on this one, I logged into PayPal and closed the dispute.
Now, a sunny weekend, perfect for a test fit, and this fuggin thing won't even clear with my tiny *** Mitsu turbo, nevermind the GT35, NOT EVEN WITH THE AC BRACKET REMOVED. Now I'm really pissed because this is getting pretty ridiculous. I sent him a pretty nasty email saying how can someone with such weld skills not have the common sense to angle the turbo flange properly? And blah blah blah bitchin away like a girl on a rag fawk
lol
So he follows up, at least he’s showing concern, stating that he’s willing to fix the issue. I reply to him, explain the situation and apologized for my attitude because I'm a nice guy and was only frustrated. Then he starts telling me how I should have went with the ramhorn for bigger turbos ^.- assuring that he test-fits everything before shipping out.
So now I gotta figure out how to get this corrected, but whatever I do is going to void the warranty obviously, and Neukin won’t help me with it. So that’s my story. Lesson learned: Do more research before doing business with someone and make sure they can communicate with you properly. I hate writing up **** like this. All I wanted was my manifold and give him credit for the good work but what tha hell :\
