i have a 95 gsr with bolt ons when i drive it sputters and theres hesitation when i hit the gas it feels slow and on idle the rpm goes from 700 and drops to 200 and back up again.. one person said the timing belt slip so i wanna know if its true or could something else be the problem please help!!!

Get your timing check. When was the last time any type of tune up has been done to the engine?

 

Rotor,cap , wires and plugs are less then 3 months old the timing belt
looks fine it's not worn it started happening one day was late for work and didn't let the car warm up after 10 minutes of driving the car started shaking and when put on drive it felt like the clutch is slipping so I pulled over and open the hood and discovered that one of the part on the wire that conects to the cap wasn't in right so I fixed it and finished my trip to work and on my way home the sputtering started..

 

try different plug wires...where did you get the plugs from?

 

I think I might of fixed it one of my friends told me to change the fuel filter and spark plugs now it's working fine Ima take a long drive in the mornin see how it
