I just bought 99 EX 5sp. Gas milage are good but want to make it better. I was think to light weight wheels would that improve MPG? Did any one tried that?

 

I've had them on a few of my cars. Honestly, the gas mileage did not seem to change much at all. Maybe a couple tenths of a mile to the gallon at most. Changing your driving habit will yield one of the greatest fuel economy gains. Search hypermiling.

rims dont make that much of a difference unless you are saving a lot of weight, like going from 24" dubs to gram lights.
also dont buy into any "gas saving miracle products" for sale on the internet, its all scams

 

best thing for gas mileage is a tune up. new plugs, wires, oil, filter, ail filter, etc will make your car run smoohther and more efficient rather then wheels
