Default quick exhaust/CAT question

so.. im looking for a header/exhaust setup to purchase in the next few moment. itll be my first time doing so.

I chose to go with the HKS hi-power exhaust with a race.

My question is, will my oem CAT hold up against the two new parts or do you think i should go ahead and purchase an high flow cat/test pipe.

I'm supercharging the car in a few weeks and need as much advice as possible

I wouldn't waste my time with anything but a race header which will eliminate the cat anyways.

A race header eliminates the cat, and HKS is a straight through exhaust system.
You will benefit from this HP wise, but kiss your silence good bye.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT sell your oem header. You will need it for smog checks.

If your getting a Race header, no matter what brand, try to take care of your secondary sensor with a de-fouler from Strup.

Do what i said, it will save you from ever damaging your 02 sensor and getting that nasty check engine signal.
