Default is it possible to drop a 3.0 in a civic

I was wondering if a 3.0 accura motor would drop into a civic? Is it even possible, or are we stuck with the 2.2's?

someone should tell the OP that this isn't a domestic car forum, and displacement has already been replaced by technology.

Why not go stick a 600rr motor in your car it's more high tech then a b/d/k series.

It's possible but not easy to do a 3L swap from the Js.

it's possible to do just about anything with a car as long as you have the resources and more importantly the money

EG's and DCs only right now. Ppl are putting them into EKs but using EG rear crossmembers for the rear mount attachment point. As stated with access to welding. machining, and deep pockets almost anything is possible with a car. Don't think so check this Old school honda swap http://www.aardvark.co.nz/pjet/turbinenuts.shtml

what? no really... WHAT?
He specified the civic pretty plain and clearly EF and EG.
That's an entire generation of civic's that he's saying a kit isn't available for.

I'm looking at a bunch of posts you have replied to and it's getting irritating.
You are making comments and being active which is great.
Problem is that everything is LOL and HAHA or answers with no tech help.
Not much help to anyone at all.

Here in Colorado this track shells going for 1000$ with the motor and cage! Hood closes and it looks like it'd be a killer track car..

There was also this guy from Mexico that dropped a Saturn V rocket into his Civic and flew to The Moon.
