Does anyone have ef_hatchback's phone number/address? scammer alert
So basically, I sold my car, this car, to Devon, aka ef_hatchback. Actually I traded it for his EG.
Well, he never registered the car and now the DMV wants me to pay $350+ to register it, which of course I'm not gonna do because it's not my car anymore.
Does anyone have this guy's phone number? Or at least his address so I can fill out the Release of Liability that the DMV
Does anyone know what happened to the car? If it got sold, or where it is currently?

That sucks. Did you fill out the release of liability form? If so, give DMV a call and inform them of your current situation and they'll help you. You can also go to DMV's website and fill one out electronically.
I didn't fill out the release of liability, I believe I printed out the Transfer of Title form and a Bill of Sale, but I lost the bill of sale. Of course they ignored the DMV on this one.
The shitty thing is that I have bills of sale and paperwork and even an old title from my past cars. Obviously it's my mistake for losing this paperwork, but then again the entire deal was a bad idea. I'm not gonna go into details but suffice it to say that all I need is an address to fill out a Release of Liability and I can just put this entire thing behind me.

Both of ours, I guess. My fault for not turning in the release of liability, and his for driving the car around and even attempting to sell it without registering it. Hell, for all I know he may have even sold it and that dude is rolling around in it unregistered.
I don't give a **** about the car, I don't want anything to do with it.

you can turn in the release of liability with his first name ....... i sold a car back in 05 where i was in the same situation, the DMV takes the release of liability, or at least for me they did, all it means is you release the ownership from the vehicle so you dont have an BS coming your way.... i am assuming he didnt turn in the pink slip either.... just turn in the liability form, and you should be done.... you better hurry, the DMV can garnish your wages if you dont pay them for the tax amount you sold the car for also....
^ alright, cool, thanks for the input. The paper itself says all kinds of scary **** in caps like "any incomplete or illegible information will prevent the recording of the information contained in the notice," so I was kind of wary of just sending it in with my info only. I'll fill out what I can and see what happens, I don't even remember his last name either.
