Default help with 88 std hatch

I have a 88 std hatch that is throwing a code 16 in the ecu i do not know what this code is for i had a list of civic obd0 codes but have lost it.

The car will start missing really bad the i will take my foot off the gas and slowly get back into it and the miss goes away and then it will do it all over again a few minutes later. Does any one know what i should do.

Thank you

http://www.phearable.net/tech/mil/troublecodes.html

Here is a link to all the trouble codes and their meanings.

Code 16 is infact Fuel Injector.

I have attached the page from the Factory Service manual that will give troubleshooting steps for this code.

Hope it helps!

would it be the same steps for a dpfi. There is no check engine light on only the code that flashes in the ecu. Could it be something else than a injector?
ecu, main relay, dizzy?

It could still be a bad injector that is giving you problems. An automotive stethoscope is pretty handy for finding injectors that are not opening. You can hear a pinging noise from the injectors when they actuate when you place the stethoscope tip on them.

I had an injector start failing on a DPFI Civic and was able to use the stethoscope to determine what injector it was pretty quickly. I just revved the engine up a few times while listening to each injector with the stethoscope. When the engine revved up fine I could hear the 2nd injector kick in. When the engine wouldn't rev up as well I did not hear it ticking.

It was awhile ago so I do not remember exactly, but I seem to recall that it idled okay but occassionally when I would hit the gas from idle it would run rough and have no power.
