Thanks fellas. A follow up question...
-How important is it to tighten the nuts to spec? I believe some of them have to be tightened to 5lbs/ft and others to 7lbs/ft. I don't feel like buying another torque wrench with that kind of accuracy. Can I just tighten them till snug?

werd!...somebody get ready to call a tow truck for this man

Buy NGK plugs BKR6EVX-11 for example, -11 means already gapped to 1.1mm or .043. So, no need to gap, just check it

The part# you listed isn't the stock plugs that the ITR comes with does it? I have NGKPFR6G-11 as the stock ITR plugs. I was only going to buy the gapping tool because I've heard that a lot of the times, the gaps are out of spec.
Just be careful if adjusting the gap, lots of people crack/break the electrode tips which can lead to big problems down the road.
Do i realllly need a snapon valve adjustment tool.
My college budget doesnt agree with it. heh
Can I just use a wrench and screwdriver like in the manual?

Check http://www.harborfreight.com, they have a valve adjustment tool set for pretty cheap compared to the Snap-On.

Ok exactly how do you guys adjust the gap on the plugs. I just use the gap measure thingy to pry it larger. Am I a retard?
