93 integra starting problem
I have a 93 civic with a 93 integra ls motor. I'm having starting issues it cranks but does not stay running but sometimes it does stay running. Does have spark but smells of gas is present when i took out the spark plugs to check them the spark plugs tips are black. The car is running rich blue/black smoke is coming out the tail pipe. Can anyone help with the starting issue?? Also does anyone know where i can go to get a pdf manual for the integra or a pdf file for the engine wiring diagram?? Any help is appreciated.
well 1st off the blue smoke is oil. 2nd black smoke could be fuel or carbon. and no run but getting spark umm did u try replacing fuel filter hondas run like crap with old fuel filters and is not good for fuel pump being bad. sounds like u need a full tune up plugs wires cap an rotor and fuel filter prob will help u alot
the motor was running fine before i took the harness out to sauder some wires up and re wrap it because the old wrap was falling appart. So could it be some plugs got crossed?
maybe it def sounds like no fuel so maybe ur wires are not turning the pump on dbl check all connections and solder points its not sauder lol but thats is a lil funny . but anyways yea just dbl check evrything uve done
i have, my buddy saw this green plug on the back of the block drivers side under the intake manafold that was not pluged in and i have never had anything pluged into it and he thinks that may be the problem. and also with the harness i did unwrap it to extend some of the wires to better hide them and some of those wires are the injector plugs is that a ploblem or not, if so is there a way to tell how they go back on?
dunno on that one but i have a bunch of unused pluggs under my motor hidden of course so extra plugs dnt mean something is wrong. is all the wire gauges the same if not = not good like if ur splicing a 8 gauge wire o;nly use 8 gauge to extend it with bc then u change all kinds of things as in resistances ect
