Default budget buildup

ok i have a 1996 accord ex which i believe is the f22b1 and i am looking to get more power out of it the motor has almost 300,000 mi on the odometer and i dont have too much to work with i was wondering if you guys could help i was thinking about an h22 swap but i live in mississippi and there are no tuning shops around here that i know of and i dont have much knowlageable help frrom my friends i also herd about the "g23" but i dont know how much machine work is nessiary or if the f23 block will bolt up to my car without a mount kit any help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance

There is very little work to preparing the f23 swap, considering that the blocks are pretty much identical, the g23 would be a nice budget build for ya! There is one guy who built one of these g23 VTEC for less then 2k and it produced the same horsepower as the h22 w/ a bit more torque if im not mistaken. You already have the VTEC ability in your car so it wont be too bad. Can't remember the site off hand, but im pretty sure some out there does.
