what up guys well my question is when i drive i hear this weird rubbing sound from the back of my car i have checked for loose bolts or anything that can be rubbing but nothing. A friend of mine said it can be a ****ed up muffler but i dnt knw a shop said that i can be a bad hub bearing in the rear so i need a little help with this. If you guys knw anyuthing a little help would be cool. thanks for looking

 

Are the pads dragging?

 

Does the sound amplify if you turn left or right? If so, you might have bad wheel bearing, I have one going out in mine.

 

wheel bearings also get louder as speed increases, and obviously go down as speed decreases.

 

You can easily check for the bearing. Just jack it up and see how well they free spin. If they don't spin at the same speed or they are hard to spin by hand it/they are bad.
