WTB: 92-95 Civic Speedometer with ~130k miles
It's pretty easy to change the mileage on the odometer to match yours. Looking at the back of the speedometer, where the odometer pieces are, there is a metal clip looking piece over the top of the numbers. You can remove that, and then spin the number (try to make them line up real good and even as best as you can) to the number you seek. This doesn't require you to go in chronological order, i.e. like counting. Then put the metal clip back in while trying to keep the numbers in line with each other. I had to do this for the same reason you would. It's surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. The only difficult part is holding the numbers in line while putting the clip back in.
Hopefully this advice will allow you to just use any 92-93 speedometer. Good luck

Interesting. I'll give it a try with the defective one.
Thanks for the idea.
