Default Fired up H22a

Today after many set backs and welding the sterring line and other crap I got my engine running smoothly with out the O2, knock, vtec sensors. She sounds go and man is this thing better than a f22 crap. What are my exhaust options. I'm not going to a exhaust place. I have a mig, arc welder. What metal works good for flange material. My cat that I bought had a smaller 3 bolt flang to my supprise. I may not use a cat. I have a 97 accord SE

Well just for calling the F22 crap. I'm only going to give you this info. Most fabricated exhaust headers are made up of ether mild or stainless steel. Therefore whatever you choose to go with for a tube/pipe material. You should probably choose that same material for your flange. Oh and most people use a TIG to weld exhaust manifolds/headers. Not saying that ether a MIG or SMAW process couldn't be used. As long as the proper techniques and materials are utilized.

Good luck

Boy, you don't know what an F22 is capable of. I chose the H over the F because I wanted something that I've always dreamed of and I got it.

3" piping would be best for the H but you'll need a good resonator so it won't rasp.

For now stock exhaust so I can get this auto thing running. I bought a manual harness and I am in the process of installing extra pins and ECu to TCu jumper (4) then shared wires 12 and then the wires that run the transmission. I might make a how to on this.

Right now I have the JDM stock header, OEM prelude cat. and stock exhaust. I plan to have 2.25 in piping but want a quite muffler. Thats my question, what muffler would be quite. On youtube alot seem loud.

Also I loved my F22 until she spun a bearing. Had to put gear oil in it to stop it from knocking. I just can't wait to do burn outs in my accord H22A style>>>>>>>>>>

Start up my accord this morning. Runs OK. Added 1/2 quart Z1 to the auto before heading out. Added 2.5 to tranny total since installed Shifts fine. Do a few vtec pulls. OK. Come to a stop light going down hill in the rain. Go to push throttle about 1/3 of the way down and SNAP!!!!!!!!!!! Grind!!!!!!!!! Now my dad pull me about 1mile had to kill the engine because the the tranny started to grid so bad. Then had to leave it in the neighborhood I drove this 5.5 miles total and this is what happens........................................... ............................... Before post the company I bought it from I'll let you know if I can return it. They are one of the top 3 listed on this form. So we will see.

Current set up:
1. stock intake and exhaust from accord with prelude cat
2. Stock ECU and TCM no mods
3. Used Z1 Fuild in auto
So for one the engine is not putting out that much HP may be 170-180. My tranny shifted fine then suddenly if failed.
