Default MAF location on LS/VTEC

The IATon my car is loacated in the air intake as pictured below, this is not the intake the car came with, I had to modify it to accept the IAT the way the old intake did. The is a sensor on the intake runners that is not being used, I am wondering why my car does not utilize this sensor and why all other b18's i have seen do not have a sensor like mine.

Yeah thats the IAT. Civics have em in the intake arm but B18's are on the manifold. Its the same thing. Unless you are having problems right now, I wouldn't worry about it. If you want you can go to a junk yard and steal the clip to plug into the one on the manifold and jb weld the hole on the intake.

Its up to you.
