After swapping my JDM B16 into my 95 ex coupe i started having some weird acceleration issues..

The motor has approx. 60K miles

I replaced the spark plug wires with MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires while it was still in my hatch and it ran fine for the 2 months while it was in the hatch

When i swapped the motor i took the fuel filter off the hatch and put it in the coupe bc the one on the coupe had the top bolt broken off in it

As for the coupe it ran fine with the D16 in it with none of these odd acceleration issues

To get to the point once i swapped it it randomly will bog down / feel like its hitting a rev limiter throughout entire rpm range.. for example sometimes it bogs at 2K rpms sometimes it bogs at 5K rpms

This will happen randomly then if i let off the gas or give it more throttle it will eventually snap back to full power and drive normal again until it randomly starts bogging again

I get a check engine light randomly throughout the week as well.. it will come on but only after 20 or so minutes of straight driving but doesnt come on every day or every time i drive for that long

So im at a loss as to where to look for the problem.. i replaced the ignition control module last summer but other than that i have had no problems with the motor..

gas mileage has seemed to go down between 10-20 miles per fill up too??

any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Hmmmm. Could it possibly be your main relay or your O2 sensors?
