xm radio?
I was wondering if anyone on this board has had any experience with xm radio. I want to get the alpine cda 7893 head unit, but i'm not too sure if i have to get the xm radio receiver along with it. if anyone can please tell me i'd appreciate it. Thanks ppl!
If you buy an XM ready CDA7893, you'll still need to buy the XM box, the TUAT020XM ($249) and the XM antenna ($80)- TRKSR1/2 from Terk. It connects though the Ai-net input. If you have a changer, it would connect to the XM box. You can still get XM preview stations, channels 0/1, but you won't hear much music until you call into get it activated.
dude i got the 7894 but the 7893 all you'll need is the tunner box and the antenna
to box get hidden and the antenna looks like a cube if they cut the tail off, its real easy to install only about 30mins.
