Personal best 10.9 Canadian Acura 1.6EL
I went and did some testing last night at Cayuga to work some of the bugs out of the car that I've been struggling with (boost by gear, blown or ripped pipe couplers, etc etc). I managed to get in 6 runs and here are the best slips:
1st run:
R/T .732
60' 1.909
330 5.087
1/8 7.614
MPH 100.09
1000 9.758
1/4 11.541
MPH 131.48
5TH RUN:
R/T .410
60' 1.728
330 4.782
1/8 7.203
MPH 104.11
1000 9.284
1/4 11.021
MPH 130.87
6TH RUN:
R/T .448
60' 1.673
330 4.691
1/8 7.132
MPH 103.37
1000 9.226
1/4 10.987
MPH 129.06
Car handled well last night and went straight as an arrow. I need some work at the lights though. Missed third gear on the 4th run and buggered up the syncro. Tranny held up though, and got me through the next two runs...That being said driving the car home the syncro was getting worse.

Thanks guys, I don't have any vids...wish I did...No I won't be at CSCS this weekend. Wish I could make it though. I think almost everyone will be in Jersey anyway. Sig is fixed just for you Jason! LOL
What did the mph in the 1/8th look like for those passes? You got any idea?
Nice runs man, I think I have some pics of your car saved on my computer at home.....

I believe it is your car, but the pics are of the car sitting in the garage with offset wheels up front with drag radials or bias plys on there for the street. Car looked good....
I hope that Im talking about the same person cause the pics I have of this car the dude is from Canada. It was a clean car.

And congrats Ryan!!! It's about time you got that monster hooking up. Well deserved bro! You officially got the title of fastest EL on earth
It made just under 500 on Magnus' Dyno at 19psi. There wasn't a lot of people out last nite, so I had a ton of time and opportunity to make runs and changes. No I don't have a roll bar in as of yet...that's on the list for this winter.
The young tech guy at TMP is a jerk. If I run under a 11.5 he comes after me and boots me. I need to get a bar too. Who tuned your car? Marco?
thanks guys !!
They didn't even bat an eye at the track when I ran under 11.5 numerous times. I do need a lot of work on the tree though.....Still learning to deep stage and shallow stage. I need more practice creeping the car forward into the staging lights while on the launch control.
Ralph(Wiggum) tuned the car. What a great guy to work with. He knows his stuff ! I would recommend anyone in the Toronto and sorrounding area to him. No I won't be at the CSCS event on sunday...I have to change the syncros in the tranny before anymore racing. Thinking of picking up the MFactory carbon coated syncros....Anyone tried them yet ? I need a cage too.....
Tony....thanks for the props !
