Sorry I didn't type the story in my first post...but here it is...
So it was about 3pm last Thursday when I got off work and on my way home. I had just left work and just pulled on one of those streets that curves when you reach the end. I was going south and then curved around and was heading west. The corolla was heading east. Now I was going straight. As usual I was hugging my curb side as much as I can when I drive on a side street with no painted lines. However, the boy wanted to make a left into a medical center, but either failed to see me or thought he could make it. The next thing I knew....BOOM! Front end of my car starts crunching, airbags popping, seatbelt pushing the air out of my lungs, my ears ringing as if a microphone is interfering with the speakers. I sat there for a minute or two trying to figure out what had just happened and realized that I have just possibly totaled my baby =[
Luckily everyone was okay. I have a minor whip lash and some bruises and cuts. Hopefully the other kid and his little brother is doing fine too. They were fine at the scene but not sure if they had whip lash too.
His insurance assumes full liability. They first offered $5800 for my car but I bargained it to $7200 for my 2000 Accord LX 4cyl. Injury claim for medical treatment is still open.
