Default Blox test pipe, what size is this? 2.5" or 2.25"?

Hi guys this might sound retarded. I can't tell what size this test pipe is?
I picked it up off a guy in the market place here, and he said it was 2.5" but when i measure it it seems to be more towards the 2.25"?

box says 63.5mm so it's packaged as 2.5" test pipe?
but then again boxes can always be packaged wrong

inner diameter of the flange from test pipe to catback seems to be 2.25" approx~

inner piping size of the test pipe 2.35" about

outter piping size of the test pipe 2.48" so about 2.5". As i recall when the exhaust companies refer to 2.5" they are usually talking O.D.?

I don't know guys, i talked to blox and they say their test pipes are 2.5" all the way through. From what i can see it looks like it's a 2.5" test pipe with 2.25" flanges. Maybe a botched batch that came from the manufacturing plant?

What do you guys think?

First off when you measure round objects with a calpier you must hold it verticaly with just the tips of the caliper going inside the pipe. Try to remeaure it u might be loosing 1/16th per side

Ok and back to the question thats not a true 63.5mm test pipe. 63.5 divided by 25.4 gives you 2.5"

So looks like that is a 2.375 one.

Tubing is always measured by the OD. That's a 2.5" test pipe. My omni was the same.

oh interesting...so there is a bottle neck on the flange? My friend has one in his car right now that is 2.5", he said he agreed to pull it out for me to measure. Hopefully this weekend then i can compare the measurments.

Then hopefully clear things up.
I tried to call blox but all they said was it's 2.5" all the way through. I talked to one of the blox distributors last night as well and they said that something was definitly not right there. So, not too sure....i'll try to compare with my buddy and let you know. If there are others that have a blox 2.5" test pipes just laying around could someone measure the flange opening please
