who has shaved door handles?
I looked into it, and heard too many horror stories about the poppers giving out.
So I went the middle of the road method, removed the wire from the handle to the bottom of the door for the locking mechanism, and put in rear door handles.
Much easier - doesn't look as nice, but not as many problems either. Just wanted to post an alternative!

f you shave them they wont let you pass tech at the drags or track days
can someone verify this? what about track cars with fiberglass doors,i think some of them don;t have handles?maybe i haven't looked closely

i'd also like to know about the whole track tech clearance also, i could see why because if you crash and go unconscious they wouldn't be able to open the door.

I have shaved door handles. Yes poppers can be a pain in the ***. I personally got the added feature on my alarm, to just have the windows roll up/down. Or the key hole in the trunk is not a bad idea.(lol)
As for tracks, it depends on the track, in Georgia, some allow it, some don't.
