yo my friend has a RSX and he wants to swap to b18c5. you guys think this is a good idea? will it fit?? any help would be apreciated

Oh and to answer your question... anything can be done with a lot of money but their are no kits out for that swap... everything would be custom! A waste of time and money certainly when the K20A2 or K20A is so much better...

rsx/02+ civic = k series
90-01 integra/civic/ = b series

but with enough money anything can be done.

 

Sorry to inform you but Kseries can fit inside 90-01 integras and civic... Hasport has the kit for it.

 

And euro ep's come with d series motors which have kits to swap to b series.

why would you backdate? if for some reason you already have an R motor, sell it and buy another k20. i mean i'm personally driving a jdm b18c and will tell you all day long the K is a better engine, it's not even really a debate

 

LMFAO!!!! I dont understand why anybody would want to do that to their car... If he blew the motor in his RSX tell him to spend 2500 bucks to get a TSX motor and Kpro.

this is wrong....did you even read what was said in the link you posted?....the were able to put the b18c in with MAJOR MODIFICATION! they do not have kits to do this in europe, infact i am pretty sure we just had a new member join not too long ago, yup i was right, this is that same car

Are you all assuming that this involves a K20A2 and not the K20A3? Regardless, the swap to a B-series would be cost prohibitive and would require a transmission swap as well.

OP, is there anything wrong with the current engine?
