ok so i was driving my b16a swapped crx today and noticed started to loose lil power well when i got where i was goin and started to leave it wouldnt go over 3000 rpms. it seemed like it would almost redline at 3000 but when it was under that it drove fine. i stopped and me and some one looked at it and couldnt find anything wrong. so i go to drive it 10 mins to my house it dies. now it wont start. any idea what would cause it to do that at 3k?
car drove fine b4 this happened. and i havent done anythign to the car.
somoene one give me some ideas on what to look for

 

well it could be mayny things. start by checkin the spark plugs, dist cap and rotor wires ect. also it might be a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. also try to reset the ecu see if that helps.

 

check the starter and check ur plugs

 

alright i started at the plugs
not gettin any spark so i started at the distrubtor hoping that will fix it
will find out tomorrow hopefully

 

the threek redline is limp mode status. check the codes and fix them
