problems with my dohc zc
k so my car only revs out to 3200 rpm like a 2 step. i was told it was my distributor so i took it of and spun the shaft and it doesnt move smooth at all it spins but it feels like its catching on something every time it move a tooth on the inside idk if thats normal or what but it doesnt seem like it. thanks for the help.
Yes the distributor is supposed to feel like that.
Are you throwing any codes? Check your MAP sensor to ensure it is plugged in correctly with the corresponding vacuum line going to it.
Make sure the plug that is plugged in has a yel/red white and green/white colors coming from it. If not, you might have switched up the TPS and the MAP sensor plug, which is a common problem.
