Removing tint off sunroof on my ej1
Is it possible to remove the tint off my sunroof on my 93 civic ex coupe? I think it's factory tint and not aftermarket. Is the glass itself tinted or does it have film tint from factory? I did a search and could not find an answer, has anyone ever done this before?
How would I get to the sunroof? Very hard and narrow, do I have to pull out the headliner inside the car? Because I can reach some parts of the sunroof, but others are hard to get to. Is there any tricks for this?

i did this to my 94 civic si and it takes like 2-3 hours you need razor blades and a fabric steamer i borrowed my neighbours industrial sized one and it's like a mini power washer but with steam and it blasted the tint off the window like a ****. you can also use the steamer to heat up the tint then use razor blades. use ammonia to get rid of any extra residue. you probably can find some one who has a steamer. but the steamer was like a miracle for getting the tint off my defrost lines.
I was under the impression that the moonroof glass was factory-tinted bronze glass (not film). At least, that's what it looks like on a 3DR Canadian 1992 Civic Si.
Theres a good article and how to about tint removal in the Summer 09' issue of Project Car (the one with wunderdog on the cover) you might wanna check that out.
