Default AUX For Stock 97 SH Headunit

Hey guys,

I was looking to buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Honda-1992-1998-...#ht_2530wt_902

I had a similar one but it was called TOY-AUX for my Tacoma.

Before I do though, is there a cheaper way to get mp3s to play using a stock head unit (without playing through a radio signal)?

Thanks

Where does this thing plug into the stock head unit? Why are you dead set on using a stock head unit?

it plugs into the cd changer outlet on the back of the head unit.

i'm a big fan of keeping the stock head unit as well. i dont like all of the flashing lights and crap associated with aftermarket head units. i guess the more pieces that i can keep stock the better.

you make want to keep an eye out for the Dennison Ice Link. its the same idea but should be a bit cheaper than what youre looking at. i got mine for $18 shipped on ebay. best buy charges over $200 for the same thing! it retains all of the ipod controls as well (click wheel, etc...) but also lets you control the ipod with your factory head unit. not many aftermarket headunits will even do that...

Thanks, I couldn't find any on ebay or craigslist but I'll look around. As for why to keep stock, I guess I just like keeping the car the way it was, I've played around with cars in the past and this time I wanna keep the car clean and taken care of. When I go to sell the car I want to show the buyer it wasn't tampered with. Plus if I can play MP3s with a stock head unit why not, save some money get same functions.

thanks again guys

No flashing lights, controls AND charges iPod through head unit or remote, $150 new in box. Looks good, sounds good. Lots of audio adjustability.

That looks good, but really all I use is an Ipod shuffle or some generic mp3 player so I can't choose songs by scrolling through or anything like that, thanks for the option though I might consider it if I change my mind.
