Break the top CSB, break the case, damage gears and bearings if neither of the first happen.

If you tighten the case down without spreading the snap ring, you;ve alreay broke the outer race or the case.

If you did spread the snap ring when installing the outer case, use FORD to get the countershaft to lock into the snap ring.

Did you spread the snap ring or not before tightening it down?

And how did you notice it when about to fill it with oil? The cover over it should have been put on before you fill with oil and start the engine... For the sake of your wallet and your trans, please don't do things ***-backwards. lol

Doesn't matter. You likely broke the the bearing and maybe damaged the case.

what ever gunk is in that bearing needs removed.......

Alignment tab for reverse synchro looks damaged, but hard to tell in the pics.

You also used the wrong sealant for the case and used 3x too much.

Strip it all back down, do it again.

Oh yeah, get a workbench and some 2x4's so your not resting on the mainshaft.

srsly wtf is with peanut buttewr jelly time in thast bearing. Your dsnap ring looks suspect too, but i cant tell because of your pic quality.....

Like bone said. Go get yourself a tube of ultra grey (or honda bond if youre balllllin)...either way you dont need so much that it displaces all over the place when the case is tight... BUt fdo take some time and make sure that the mating surfaces are clean as you can get em... At least I do, and I (as Bone) Build alot of trannys. H trannys.

BTW LOL at the tags for this thread that appear at the bottom of the page hahahhhaha
