Default Vitara build to start, what to expect?

Here is my setup, Eagle H-beams, Vitara 75.5, D16z6 block and head, block and girlde both knotched.

Also have a 59300 cam, and BWR valve springs.

MSD 6al and blaster coil.

Running OBD1 P28.

Just wanting to know what to expect as far as noises, bogs, etc.. First honda build in years, so kinda excited. Should start up tomorrow evening. Here are a couple pics I took yesterday while puting the motor in.

(ghey friend at work who thinks hes jdm ha)

Right now the car will be running nitrous.. But after the first of the year, it will be turbo.

Expecting bogs and noises? What in the world? Why would you want noises and bogs?

You should expect to be removing that MSD stuff... the stock distributor will handle more power than your setup will. If you are wanting to use it for engine control then get some type of tuning program since you are already OBD-1.

Also HOLY cylinder walls BATMAN!!! I assume you did not get a hone, because those walls are pretty glazed by the looks of your pictures... not good for new rings. Take it back apart and start over...

That's so sad.... I agree.
I don't want to even think about what was used for crank bearings.
There isn't a plastigauge pic like everyone else.

You should expect it act just like any other motor that has less compression.

I was going to say this as well, also the pistons looked REALLY chipped up like something went through the motor at one point.

The rings will probably not seat correctly and with a healthy shot of spray, they will be toast very quickly.

You should really rehone those walls and get a better picture of those pistons because they don't look like they are in very good shape.

vitara pistons with D16Z6 block and head gives you compression ratio of around 7.5:1
